Sue Appleby        Actress/Singer/Musician/Singing Teacher

Based in South London, Sue has been an actress, singer, musician and vocal coach for over 17 years. In this time she has toured the UK and worldwide to over 25 countries. She has performed in London’s West End, at the Royal Albert Hall, on BBC Radio, BBC Television, and has worked alongside actors such as Alison Steadman, Prunella Scales and Marc Warren.

Sue is a highly acclaimed singing teacher and vocal coach, having taught at several of London’s top drama schools. She currenlty teaches at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance and has her own private teaching practice (see Lessons page).

Sue has worked as singing supervisor for several West End productions and UK tours. Her private singing students include West End performers, singer songwriters and finalists on The X Factor, Grease is the Word and Over the Rainbow.

She sings with and manages London based Jazz & Swing Band Limelight who have been performing throughout the UK for nearly ten years with their unique blend of high quality instrumentalists and male/female duo vocal harmonies. Visit the band's website here

Sue is also the proud founder of children's charity Christmas For Kids which has brought music, puppetry and storytelling magic to children’s hospices across England since 2009.
